Amir Basha is an expert in thermal and reverse osmosis desalination technology and Director of Engineering & Special Projects. Mr. Basha posses over 30 years of hands-on experience in design, operation and maintenance of thermal power plants, MSF, MED and MVC thermal desalination plants and Reverse Osmosis plants.

Mr. Basha attained his bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering with Honors, joined Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited ( BHEL ) India and served in Field Engineering section for 11 years. He presented papers at National seminars representing BHEL.

Mr. Bashaa worked with Saline Water Conversion Corporation ( SWCC ), Saudi Arabia for 10 years as in charge of Maintenance Section in Satellite Plants. His hands –on and diverse experience in Thermal (MSF, MED and MVC units) and Reverse Osmosis plant, maintenance and trouble shooting. He was responsible for special tasks of dismantling, transferring , re-erecting and commissioning of desalination plants. He presented several technical papers on Pre-treatment Problems and membrane performance in Satellite Plants.

Recognizing Mr. Basha's special merits and dedication during his service with above organizations, he is been honoured with distinguished awards.

Mr. Basha has presented several technical papers in International organizations such as International Desalination Association, WSTA etc.

Mr. Basha is a member of International Desalination Association, American Society of Mechanical Engineers and Saudi – Indian business network.
